A Christmas dance extravaganza this weekend will feature routines by West Cumbrian dancers following a performance in New York.
Cowper School of Dance will be holding its festive show, A Christmas Sparkle, at Workington's Carnegie Theatre on Sunday.
Members of the dance school recently returned from New York after dazzling crowds at the city's iconic Town Hall Theatre.
Dancers followed in the footsteps of Billie Holliday, Bette Davis and Robin Williams, as they took to the stage of the historic venue, performing a mixture of lyrical, tap and pointe dancing.
The school was selected to perform in the show with other English and Scottish dance schools.
Thirty-five West Cumbrian dancers, aged 14 and over, performed six different routines and also got to enjoy the city, visiting Times Square and going ice skating.
