Cumberland Cup holders Workington Reds continue with their trophy defence thanks to a narrow one-goal victory over a resilient Frizington Whitestar.
There may be several leagues difference between the two sides but just one goal from the boot of the returning Anthony Wright separated them after 90 minutes.
Reds were lacklustre in their performance and despite creating several chances they could not finish off.
Frizington defended well and on the break created several opportunities of their own with Stefan Scott going close on a couple of occasions.
And the Frizington keeper Dean Armstrong also pulled off a couple of great saves to deny their visitors.
But in the end Reds did enough to hang on and move into the next round.
