Community groups have been busy preparing for the event, including Copeland Occupational and Social Centre members who have been busy making poppies.
The event will take place on Thursday, June 30 at 6.30pm on Cleator Moor Square. Cleator Moor Brass will play for half an hour then a brief service by the war memorial.
Refreshments will be provided by the Town Council and served by the Methodist Church ladies in the Methodist Church hall following the service.
Phoenix Youth Project are preparing a display and will support the ladies to serve refreshments.
There will be a competition held in PYP to design a logo for wreaths that will be used on the day. Cleator Moor Town Council is supplying a prize for this and Cleator Moor Army Cadets will be providing support for the organisation of the event.
