Chloe Neesham, 18, of Barfs Road, will go for glory in the event’s final in Carlisle on November 12.
She is among 20 contestants who will take part in four rounds donning evening wear, sportswear, party wear and eco wear where competitors wear clothes made of recycled materials.
The winner will qualify for next year’s Miss England competition. But before then they must raise at least £200 for charity, and Chloe has organised a fundraising quiz night for Variety, the competition's charity.
Chloe, who works for Premier Inn at Howgate, said: “It’s one the biggest things I’ve done and that’s why I was nervous at first.
“I can’t even believe that I’ve got through to the final. I’ve made so many new friends and they’re all lovely.”
Chloe has arranged a quiz night and raffle event at The Blue Bell Inn in Workington on Wednesday, November 9. It will start at 7pm and costs £2.50 to take part.
