Christmas gifts totalling £1,000 have been presented to seriously-ill children at Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary.
Mark Andrews, who is a Whitehaven fundraiser for The Charlie and Kathleen Dunnery Children's Fund (CKDCF) which donated the money, also travelled over to the hospital with 200 selection boxes.
He said: "We donate £1,000 worth of gifts to the ward and this year they wanted craft items and a camera, printer and accessories, to make memory books.
"There was also £300 worth of Metro Centre vouchers as the kids get £10 on their birthday and £20 when they finish their treatment."
The selection boxes were wrapped by Mark and his neighbour, Carol Spedding.
The CKDCF is dedicated to children's health and wellbeing in Cumbria. It provides grants and charitable donations to organisations that benefit local children in need.
