A selection of flowers are set to go on display at a charity event in Egremont in the new year.
Richard Lee, the rector of St Mary and St Michael's church in Egremont, is organising a charity event before his role as Cumbria's High Sheriff finishes.
Everyone is welcome to the event, at the church on Sunday, January, 8 at 3pm. It will feature vocal group, The Herdwyck Consort, with Lamb and friends in support of Jigsaw children's hospice and Crimebeat. Donations only.
Whitehaven Flower Club has been asked to depict the Epiphany. There will be eight displays including darkness to light, each of the three wise men, peace and tranquility, wisdom and learning, music and harmony with other floral displays.
The church will be open for viewing from Monday 9 to Friday 13 from 10am to 4pm.
