A Whitehaven restaurant has suddenly closed, and it is not known if it will reopen.
Caspian Classic, on Lowther Street, is currently closed. A letter from the Court Enforcement Services has been posted on the restaurant's front door.
It states that the tenant's lease has been brought to an end unless they remedy the breach between themselves and the landlord.
No one from Caspian Classic or the managing agent for the landlord was available to comment.
