Bunting has been bought by Cleator Moor Town Council to line the streets on special occasions.
Councillors agreed to spend just over £420 on the bunting - which can be used again in the future for several events.
The councillors also agreed on spending just over £430 on the cost of installation. Council clerk, Helen Gilmour suggested the bunting could be used for events such as the West Lakes Cycling Festival and the Phoenix Youth Project’s Fun For All Day this summer.
