AN award-winning Elvis tribute act will be performing live in Egremont next week to raise funds for the town's historic Crab Fair.

Mark Summers returns to West Cumbria with his Elvis Legacy show on Friday November 11, in a bid to raise money towards the events 750th anniversary celebrations next year.

Known as the Young Elvis Presley, he is one of the top selling international tribute acts, and has been voted the UK's official number one Elvis tribute in each of the past four years.

Having performed worldwide over the past 10 years, he has shared the stage with Elvis' movie co-stars, original band members, close friends, the Memphis Mafia and members of the Presley family, including Priscilla Last summer he performed in Egremont at a charity event in memory of teenager Danica Maxwell.

Back by popular demand, Mark brings his high energy show to Egremont Conservative Club, where he'll perform "the King's" greatest hits, including That's All Right (Mama) from the beginning of his illustrious career, all the way through to songs such as Suspicious Minds in the late 60s.

The show on Friday 11 starts at 7.30pm, and tickets priced £10 are available from the Conservative Club, Coleridge Stores in Egremont, and Daniel Shutt from the Crab Fair committee.

All proceeds will go towards the 750th Egremont Crab Fair.
