A595 roadworks to start
Work to replace timber fencing and a safety barrier along the A595 starts on Monday.
The work, at Wyndham East near Egremont will continue until Saturday February 11.
Drivers will have to use a contraflow arrangement.
This will be installed with an 8am to 2pm morning closure of the road – with a diversion through Egremont – on Sunday.
The contraflow will be removed using a second full road closure on the morning of February 12.
The contraflow system will be installed on the A595 on the southern approach to the Main Street/East Road roundabout.
Construction work will take place between 8am and 6pm each day and the work does not require temporary traffic lights.
