£289 price of evading £14 fare

A MORESBY Parks woman made off without paying her taxi fare, a court heard.
Kimberley Louise Friel, 22, of Moresby Parks Road, admitted the offence and was ordered to pay £14 compensation to L&G Taxis.
Magistrates at West Cumbria Court House also fined her £100 with £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge.
She was also fined £75 after committing the offence while on a six-month conditional discharge.
