The Rutland Avenue winner, who plays with the postcode CA28 8LB, landed People’s Postcode Lottery’s Daily Prize yesterday.
Judie McCourt, People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador, said: “What a great way to start the year with an extra £1,000 in your bank account.”
Last year, the West Cumbria Trades Hall Centre Ltd in Workington, received £14,500 to enable it to deliver more accredited courses to help people into employment.
