PLANNING applications received by Copeland Borough Council during the week ended November 28 were:
WHITEHAVEN: Single-storey extension to provide garage/utility and front porch, including change of use of common open space to garden land, 8 Muncaster Road, for K Hammel; Externally illuminated fascia sign (retrospective), 11 Tangier Street, for R Opan, 6A Tangier Street; Two storey extension comprising garage and bedrooms, single storey rear extension to form sunroom, 15 Hollybank, The Highlands, for V Shipley; Change of use of first floor to bar and part of boat yard to rear to licensed premises, erection of two storey rear extension, Taylors Tavern, 18 Tangier Street, for Messrs S & J Brown, 18 Calder Rigg, The Banks, Seascale; Kitchen, utility, bathroom, bedroom extension, 1 Jericho Road, High Meadows, for P Ostridge.
MILLOM: Erection of a pair of three bed semi-detached houses, Land off Argyle Street, for H Jordan, Sunny Croft, Boundary Lane.
ST BRIDGET’S BECKERMET: Double garage, Holm Hill, Sellafield Road, Beckermet, for J Rea.
EGREMONT: Rear single-storey extension, 5 Nelson Square, for J Nolan.
CLEATOR MOOR: Listed building consent for replacement of two external fire doors, Phoenix House, 3-5 Jacktrees Road, for Ms J Crowe.
MILLOM WITHOUT: Variation of conditions 2 and 1 of planning consents respectively to allow the continuation of mineral extraction, Ghyll Scaur Quarry, The Hill, for Aggregate Industries UK Ltd, Bardon Hill, Coalville, Leicestershire.
