WHITEHAVEN’S Brad Kavanagh was among stars from 15 countries taking part in the Disney Channel Games 2008 held in Florida.
Top kids favourites from shows such as Camp Rock and Hannah Montana battled it out to win the coveted Games title.
Brad, who appears in As The Bell Rings, competed alongside his famous US TV team-mates in a series of action-packed and fun challenges. The five shows start tomorrow (Friday) at 4pm on the Disney Channel.
“Being at the Disney Channel Games in Florida was a dream come true,’’ Brad said. “It's great to have the opportunity to meet and make friends with international Disney Channel stars as well as being active.
“Joe Jonas was on my team and we enjoyed a few jamming sessions on the guitar behind-the-scenes – all I can say is that I'm really looking forward to Camp Rock in the Autumn.’’
Brad, 15, who lives at Richmond, first came to the Disney Channel’s attention when he won the role of Michael in the West End production of Billy Elliot.
He was previously signed up to host a talent show called My School Musical.
