Something to Brag about
Published at 15:59, Wednesday, 02 July 2008
THE BRANSTY Arch pub received an award from loyal punters for its dedication to providing quality beers and ales brewed locally in the Lake District.
Members of Brag (Bransty Real Ale Group) presented their own award to the popular Wetherspoons pub in recognition of their efforts to provide local brews in a presentation last week.
Members of the group, many of whom are also members of the Campaign for Real Ale, wanted to acknowledge the pub for both the services they are providing to customers as well as their continuing support of smaller local breweries.
