Work at harbour
Last updated 16:00, Wednesday, 07 May 2008
A ROAD along the harbour front is to be closed until May 23 as part of the ongoing Haig and coastal fringe regeneration work.
The road from just after The Beacon was closed from Tuesday, as was the footpath on the car park side of the road.
The pedestrian access on the harbour side of the road will remain open to pedestrians as this area will not be disturbed. The work will affect the closure of the Wellington Inn car park for the same period. The South Beach car park is already closed to the general public for the duration of the scheme.
