Drug fine

GRANT Paterson, 20 of Link Road, Whitehaven, has been fined £60 for possessing a small quantity of cannabis.
He pleaded guilty at Whitehaven Magistrates Court and was ordered to pay £43 costs and £15 victim surcharge.
He pleaded not guilty to a charge of common assault.
The matter was adjourned so a trial date could be set.
