Skoda's first purely electrically driven and autonomous driving concept car the Vision E has been unveiled to indicate the brand's interpretation of electric vehicles for the future.
The looks great on the road at 4,645 mm long, 1,917 mm wide and 1,550 mm tall and its design creates a spacious interior. It has the elevated seating position and generous space of an SUV tailored with the gently sloping roof line of a coupe.
The electrification of Skoda's model range will begin as early as 2019 with the launch of the KODA SUPERB with plug-in hybrid drive. Skoda's first purely electric series-produced vehicle will follow shortly thereafter in 2020. The brand has bigger expansion plans than that though, looking to eventually have five purely electric cars on the road in different sized models.
