Thanks to midnight walkers
Published at 11:12, Thursday, 05 July 2012
SIR – I am writing on behalf of Hospice at Home West Cumbria to thank everyone for the massive support we received, yet again, for our Ladies Midnight Walk. We are all extremely grateful to everyone involved in helping us on the night and before , in so many different ways.
I must particularly thank the sponsors of the event, the sponsors and match funders of the ladies walking, and of course the ladies themselves who walked with so much colour and gaiety, but were all very conscious of the serious reason behind the walk. The support of your newspaper has been invaluable, in the coverage and the lead up to the event.
This is our 25th year as a true community charity in West Cumbria and we can only continue to provide our specialised services because of the sustained support we receive from so many people.
Thank you all again.
Terry COLLINS
Chairman, Hospice at Home West Cumbria
