Lee Brennan: The sheep and the midfielder were real...

Fans of Lee Brennan may have been a little bemused by the singer’s Twitter feed recently.
How’s this for an unexpected tweet?
‘In car behind Liverpool player Charlie Adam in Weeton [near Blackpool], he got out of his car & herded about 20 sheep back into their field!! Priceless!!’
You can imagine people reading that and thinking “Poor Lee, he’s obviously been pushing himself a bit hard lately.”
And after receiving several messages to that effect – ‘Charlie Adam? Sheep?’ – Lee tweeted:
‘For those who asked, yes the Charlie Adam sheep thing really happened, I wasn't joking!’
Lee had been visiting relatives in Lancashire after spending a few days in Carlisle when this unusual encounter took place.
Two days later, Charlie Adam was in the Liverpool team beaten 3-2 by Queens Park Rangers.
Oh well. If the football doesn’t work out, there’s always shepherding.
