Kirsty McStraw, 24, primary school teacher and Chris Graham, 23, recycling operative, live in Carlisle
HOW THEY MET: When they worked together in 2007.
PROPOSAL: Chris got down on one knee and proposed on the top of Hallin Fell during a camping holiday.
VENUE: St Mary’s Church, Cleator.
St. Begh’s music group featuring Anne-Marie McStraw on violin played the entrance hymn Pachelbel’s Canon in D Major.
THEME: Purple hearts.
BRIDE’S OUTFIT: A white strapless tulle and satin gown, corset back with intricate detail on the bodice from Trudy Lee designers, tiara with pearl and diamantes and a veil with diamante detail and jewellery from John Richard to complement the tiara.
GROOMSMEN: The best man was Dave Carr, a childhood friend of the groom, and ushers were the groom’s brothers Matthew and Lee Graham.
They wore short black jackets and black trousers with white wing collar shirts, white waistcoats with purple cravat, from Greenwoods.
BRIDESMAIDS: The bride’s sisters Anne-Marie McStraw and Melissa McStraw were bridesmaids and wore long purple satin halterneck dresses with crystal detail from Debenhams
FLOWERS: A bouquet of purple and white flowers with diamante detail by Jean’s Flower Boutique, Whitehaven.
HAIR: Bussy Scissors, Cleator Moor.
TRANSPORT: A Rolls Royce from A Touch of Class, Workington and coach from Reays Coaches.
RECEPTION: The Falcon Club, Egremont for a three course meal for 50 guests followed by an evening reception with a hot buffet for a further 80 guest.
TABLE SETTINGS: White seat covers with purple sashes, white table cloths with purple table runner, glass bowls with ambient lighting and purple pillar candles in vases with butterfly decorations, clusters of purple balloons and purple bows located around the room, all provided by the venue.
FAVOURS: Personalised love hearts.
CAKE: A white three-tier cake with purple hearts with two tiers of fruit and one of sponge, made by a family friend.
FIRST DANCE: Truly Madly Deeply, Savage Garden.
ENTERTAINMENT: Graham Brown, singer and guitarist with background music and disco provided by the venue.
HONEYMOON: Two weeks in Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
