The stage is set for a spectacular live show

FORTY-FIVE routines, 150 performers and three cities – all the numbers add up to a stunning show at Whitehaven Civic Hall this week.
Starkey School of Theatre Dance is performing A Tale of Three Cities, bringing the music, dance and showmanship of London, Paris and New York to the Civic Hall stage.
The show begins in London, when all the best known songs from the capital will be performed, including Step In Time from Mary Poppins and Gerry Rafferty’s Baker Street up to more recent hits from Adele.
Act two moves to Paris, featuring songs from Moulin Rouge and Disney’s The Aristocats, before finishing in New York for songs from 42nd Street and Bugsy, with a grand finalé of New York, New York.
All proceeds from the shows go to local children’s charity SafetyNet. The show runs on Friday (7pm), Saturday (7pm) and Sunday (2.30pm). Tickets cost £7 (concessions £5) on 01946 5914960 or www.civichall.org.uk.
