THIS year’s annual Hurst walk in aid of the Macmillan nurses was a walk along the Limestone Way in the Peak District.
The 46 miles was walked by the Rotarians and friends over a period of four days from May 11-14.
The walk was organised by Rotarians Bob Owens and David Lord along with other Rotarians who helped with the transport.
The walk began at Castleton in the Hope Valley through dramatic dales and green rolling landscape to Rocester on the bank of the river Dove. On the walk you could enjoy the trail taking in spectacular scenery.
Rotarians have thanked all those taking part in the event which will raise much needed money for a worthwhile cause.
