STUDENTS at Whitehaven School have showcased their musical talents at a fundraising live lounge event.
A variety of acoustic sets were played by talented musicians at the school in front of staff and pupils.
Money was raised through donations and entrance fees which is set to go the Great North Air Ambulance.
Highlights of the session included Hayley Carr and Claire Jackson performing their compositions, and some socially aware music from teacher John Wilkinson, say staff.
The event was organised by head of Post 16 Keith Finlinson. He said the quality of the entertainment on offer was testament to the dedication and skill of those taking part and added that he was proud to be associated with all those involved in the event.
