Nuts In May

THE newest event in Cumbria’s festival calendar launches this weekened.
Nuts In May, in Workington from May 4 to 6, will feature 80s stars, folk legends and festival favourites.
Headlining is former teen idol Nik Kershaw, who is best known for hits Wouldn’t It Be Good and I Won’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me.
Also on the bill are Martin Carthy and Dave Swarbrick, who have inspired generations of musicians through their work, Hazel O’Connor and The Baghdaddies.
Tickets for the weekend are £34, or £20 for those aged 12 to 17, with under-11s free.
