Go wild with The Jungle Book

A HOST of wild and wonderful characters arrive in Whitehaven this week as the classic story of The Jungle Book is brought to life.
Rosehill Youth Theatre perform the much-loved tale and the timeless songs, featuring Mowgli (played by Ellie Vine) and his jungle friends including Baloo, Bagheera and Shere Khan.
Thirty-five talented young performers, aged between four and 17, will star in the show that takes place in Whitehaven Civic Hall.
Tickets cost £8 each or a family of four for £28. The show runs twice on Sunday (2pm and 7pm) and Monday (7pm).

Rosehill Youth Theatre has been boosted by a £500 donation from the Co-op Community Fund.
The Fund’s Tommy Taylor attended a recent rehearsal to present the cheque to the group.
