A MUSIC festival set to take place in Hensingham, Whitehaven, next week has undergone a revamp.
Organisers have decided to change the format of H-Fest, which was originally due to take place from May 5 to 7 at Hensingham Rugby League Club, featuring a host of tribute acts.
Due to the competition for concert-goers’ attention and finances at this busy time, the festival will now be a one-day event on Sunday, May 6.
Starting at 2pm, it will feature Five and Dangerous, Shore (featuring Jolan), Revelation Rhodes (Ozzy Osbourne tribute), The Mildhearts, and Carolynne Poole, a former star of Fame Academy and The X-Factor who has recently joined the cast of Emmerdale.
In addition, on Saturday, May 5, the FA Cup final between Liverpool and Chelsea will be screened live followed by a Bon Jovi tribute, Blaze of Jovi.
The arrangements for the boxing show (May 3) and ladies event (May 4) remain as advertised.
Tickets for the Sunday are £5 and only £1 for the Saturday.
They are available for over-18s only from Threads (King Street, Whitehaven), Rosebudz (Market Place) and the rugby club. Existing tickets can be returned to the place where they were purchased or reimbursed on the day.
Proceeds go to the Independent Community Autistic Activity Network (ICAAN) and CFM Cash For Kids.
