The mysterious Wasdale 'Head'
A reader has photographed a mysterious 'head' in the rocks at Wasdale
Can you see the woman's head lying at the end of Wasdale Head?
Cue spooky X-Files music as I tell you about reader Joyce Wilson of Bigrigg who was walking in Wasdale when she looked up and noticed the head of a woman lying in the rocks. Not some grisly murder scene but just the way the snow had fallen on the rocks leaving the perfect impression of a woman's head at rest. Thanks Joyce for sharing that with us.
I spotted this sign in a cafe yesterday: "Please note - We stop serving all-day breakfasts at 11.30am". Is it just me?!
