A HOST of celebrity items have gone under the hammer at the annual Francis Dunnery auction night.
The Egremont-born rock star attended the event which raised money for The Charlie and Kathleen Dunnery Children’s Fund – the charity Francis set up in memory of his parents.
Friday’s event raised around £1,100 which will go to support local good causes that benefit children.
Memorabilia from the worlds of music, sport and entertainment went up for auction and the most sought-after items were four pictures signed and personalised by Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish.
Proceeds from the event will be added to those from a concert, golf day, table tennis competition and sponsored walk later in the year, to go to CKDCF.
