A light and sound extravaganza from Brit Floyd

BRIT Floyd, the best Pink Floyd tribute in the world, brought their spectacular A Foot In The Door show to Whitehaven Civic Hall last week during the UK leg of their world tour.
Floyd fans, young and old, were treated to a light and sound extravaganza, as the group played a 21-song set of classic tracks, ranging from early hits like See Emily Play and Money through their Shine On You Crazy Diamond days leading to them playing a full side of album The Wall.
As you would expect from a show of Pink Floyd music, you weren’t going to get an hour or so of three-minute pop songs.
Arriving on at 8pm, apart from a short break, the band played nonstop classic Floyd tracks one after the other, until the encore of Run Like Hell at 11pm which, I can assure you, no one wanted to do, because it could be quite a while before they see a show, including the best lightshow I’ve seen there, as good as this back at the Civic Hall again.
