AN EYE-CATCHING visual feast of art work has been produced by students at Wyndham School, in Egremont.
It is being shown as part of a Copeland Schools exhibition currently on display at Lowes Court Gallery in the town.
Also featuring work in the exhibition, which runs until May 13 is Whitehaven School, Mayfield School and Harecroft Hall.
The Egremont pupils have created a wide range of colourful work including photography, painting, pottery and modelling.
All year groups are having work featured and the focus is on being creative.
Nicola McMullen, head of art at Wyndham, said a number of projects have been carried out including focusing on self portraiture, anatomy and the funky chicken!
“We want them to experience a wide range of media by the time they leave school,” she said.
“Art is a visual language and we want them to communicate through their art work and it doesn’t always have to be art in a traditional way, there are other ways of being expressive.”
There has been some good feedback on the work and now you can see it for yourself at the Main Street gallery.
