Wild Primrose: When ‘primula vulgaris’, (the native wild primrose), comes into flower, there’s no going back – spring has arrived! Despite its very delicate flowers, the primrose is an exceedingly robust survivor. And at this time of year, it is prolific along the cycle tracks of West Cumbria. Enjoy the spectacle whilst you can for its season is far too short, in my opinion.
