Snail: Things must be warming up if snails shake off their cob-webs and come out to join the rest of creation. (Hard to think that some people actually eat these inoffensive little creatures). Apart from looking for fresh greens to munch on, they’ll be looking for a mate, so walkers and cyclists on cycle tracks need to be careful where they tread and ride, or their slow stroll could easily end in a squashed mess.
