A POPULAR headteacher is retiring after serving a successful Furness secondary school for 30 years.
Best wishes on your retirement Mr Tumelty, thanks for all you have given to the pupils of St Bernards.
Eugene and I arrived as new Heads of English in the area about the same time and we often met at meetings and training. He was always a gentleman dedicated to his vocation. Good luck, Eugene.

Have your say
me and my family will all miss you you are a great head teacher to me you are kind and loving person
