FORMER Haven star and Town’s Lancashire Cup hero Les Gorley is set to be inducted into the Workington club’s Hall of Fame tomorrow night.
The talented second-rower, who featured in the 1977 cup triumph over Wigan, will join former team-mate Billy Pattinson in the club’s honour roll.
Gorley, from Gt Broughton, played twice for England, won five Test caps and gave eight years of service to Town.
He joined the club in 1971 and racked up more than 50 tries in 224 games. He finished off his career at Whitehaven for two years.
There are still a few places left for the Vice President’s event at the Tom Mitchell Lounge. It starts at 7pm for 7.30pm. Contact Tony Boyd for tickets on 07850 552229.
