Bright and beautiful
STUDENTS from Workington Sixth Form Centre have produced a mural to be displayed in Workington town centre. The year 12 arts students have designed four colourful boards on the theme of pink, flowers and butterflies.

Nuclear bursary for Laura
A WORKINGTON Sixth Form Centre student has been awarded a £1,000 bursary towards her studies next year. Laura Atherton was given the Nuclear Institution Bursary after she submitted a written application, attended an interview and gave a presentation on nuclear fusion to 35 people from the nuclear industry.

SAILING is very much a way of life at Windermere St Anne’s School. The school not only boasts its own lakeside RYA approved training centre, Hodge Howe, but has now incorporated an entirely unique course focused on the water for its Sixth Form students.
