Work on Construction Skills Centre in west Cumbria to start soon
Work on the new multi-million-pound Construction Skills Centre at Lakes College West Cumbria could start within the next few weeks following an announcement that a contractor has been chosen to design and build the new facility.

Iy is hard to believe another year is under way; the perfect time for a fresh start. Gym memberships, diets, the promise to spend more quality time with friends and loved ones and many other resolutions are approached with gusto in this month. At least for a while.

Mathew’s starring role at opening

This is going to be a great year at Lakes College
IT IS great to start a new academic year on such a positive note. We have introduced several new courses, highlighted in Learning last month, that include an event planning course, specialist football and rugby academies, and performing arts courses, to be delivered in our brand new £1.2 million special educational needs and performing arts centre.
