Former Carlisle woman's royal wedding sick bags sell-out
Last updated at 12:34, Wednesday, 23 February 2011
They are more usually found on aircraft than as a souvenir for a royal wedding.
But an artist from Carlisle has created a specially designed one for those already sick of hearing about Prince William’s upcoming nuptials to Kate Middleton.
Lydia Leith, 24, has designed a sick bag to coincide with the occasion – and has already sold out of her first batch, available for £3 each.
Lydia, who now lives in Edinburgh and is a graduate from the city’s College of Art, admits she does not think it will be used as a sick bag.
She originally made 260 limited edition bags, which have sold out, but is now busy making more.
They are available from her website, www.lydialeith.com.

Nice one Sheena tell it like it is
PS Am sending this article to my American Royal loving friend, only one loves these people out of the many people I know in the States! It will be interesting to hear her reaction, though I know my other US friends will love this as they feel the monarchy is sooo outdated! My lovely but sad US Royal loving friend was one of apparently, only a few people who went to meet Charles and Camilla at Independance Hall on their visit to Philadelphia a year or so ago. All of the others I know (and love) there stayed away.
