Ex-Workington Town player set for Barrow Raiders break

Liam Finch could be set for his big Championship break at Barrow after a second ex-Workington Town half-back, Liam Campbell, was ruled out for the season.
Campbell broke an ankle in the first-half of Barrow’s 26-25 win over Hunslet last weekend, with Finch taking over for the remainder of the game, in his first outing since his recent release from Derwent Park.
“Liam Finch came in and did quite a good job for us,” coach Dave Clark said.
“I was really happy with his performance at the weekend, since he has been out for a while.
“It just shows again, with both Liams, that they have similar attributes as players, they like to support the ball, they are very quick and they ask a lot of questions of the defence.
“I am replacing one with a similar player to the other, so it is good for me that I have that player in the side.”
Barrow, in sixth, travel to bottom club Dewsbury on Sunday.
