Seaton girl Sammie McGarry is continuing her rise to football’s top echelons.
After starring for England U15s she has now been called up to the England U17 training camp at the University of Warwick this weekend.
The training camp will see the players put through fitness drills and coaching sessions overseen by England Football Association staff and will conclude with an internal training match.
Sammie, a former Seaton JFC player, has played for Cumbria Girls Centre of Excellence for two seasons.
Next season she will attend Filton College and play for Bristol Academy Women’s FC.
