Cleaning can be an organic experience

OMNIA Cleaning Company specialises in carpet cleaning and has just been shortlisted for the Copeland Environment Awards because of its totally green cleaning system.
The company, based in Court End, Silecroft, uses a product called Host™ which contains a mild detergent, but one that is natural and is completely safe in the home.
Host™ is a dry carpet cleaning system which carries the liquid ingredients to the carpet fibers in a controlled way.
The soft, organic, natural Host™ sponges contain all the necessary liquid to dissolve and absorb both water and oil based dirt.
And because it is a low moisture system, when you’re finished cleaning, the carpet is dry and ready to use immediately.
Omnia manager Cameron Kirkwood said: “Any children or pets can stay in the house while the carpet is being cleaned and as soon as it is vacuumed off the floor everything is back to normal immediately.
“In fact as long as you have clean shoes on you can walk over it while it is working.
“Afterwards you can either dispose of the product in your own brown bin or Omnia will take it away.”
