HOW THEY MET: At school 14 years ago.
PROPOSAL: On the AMP Tower in Sydney overlooking Sydney Harbour Bridge in October 2007.
VENUE: Our Lady and St Michael’s Church, Workington.
THEME: Diamantes, white roses and sparkle.
BRIDE’S OUTFIT: White Jasmine Couture Collection fitted dress with laced tie back covered in Swarovski crystals, elbow-length veil edged with crystal droplets from Bridal House, Maryport and Swarovski crystal tiara from Halo & Co.
GROOMSMEN: Tony Huddart was best man. Ushers were the groom’s brother Martin Wilson, the bride’s brother Paul Rooke and the groom’s friends Jamie Nixon and Luke Naylor.
Jake Robinson, Regan Jackson, Leyton and Charlie Roberts and Callum Bell were page boys.
They wore dark grey suits. The groom wore a silver cravat with silver diamante waistcoat and the best man and ushers wore raspberry cravats with silver diamante waistcoats, all from Dresses and Dreams, Workington.
BRIDESMAIDS: The bride’s cousin Katy Rooke was chief bridesmaid.
Bridesmaids were the groom’s sister Natalie Wilson, the bride’s cousins Leanne Fowler and Emily Robinson and the bride’s friends Hayley Wilson, Amy Walker, Kate Stewart and Claire Rice.
They wore raspberry-coloured satin dresses from Dresses and Dreams, Workington.
Alisha Wilson, Kia-Mae Jackson and Gracie Nixon were flower girls and wore white organza dresses covered with silver sparkle from Bridal House, Maryport.
FLOWERS: The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of white roses and freesia with diamantes and greenery from Seaton Garden Centre.
TRANSPORT: A blue Beauford from A Touch of Class, Workington.
RECEPTION: Hundith Hill Hotel, Cockermouth for a champagne toast and meal for 140 guests and a further 60 guests in the evening.
TABLE SETTINGS: Tall glass vases with white roses, bear grass and crystals placed on mirrored glass plates.
FAVOURS: Pink champagne miniatures for the women and a selection of wine miniatures for the men.
CAKE: A three-tier white square cake with two layers of sponge and one of fruit, pure white icing with white ribbon decorated with three Swarovski crystal stars and initials of the bride and groom in diamantes.
FIRST DANCE: How Do I Live, Leanne Rimes.
ENTERTAINMENT: Disco by Boogie Nights, Workington.
HONEYMOON: Dubai and Mauritius.
