Show auction raises funds for local church

THE annual Hesket and District Produce Show was held on Saturday August 11 in Low Hesket Village Hall.
Entries were slightly down on last year but even though the weather hasn’t been kind this year the same high standard of vegetables, flowers, baking, crafts, and preserves continues.
The afternoon finished with an entertaining auction of the produce, the profits going to St Mary’s Church, High Hesket.
