HAVEN finance director Barry Richardson, who helped steer the club through its recent financial problems, has stepped down due to the high volume of work the post carries.
Richardson will continue with the club in an advisory capacity.
Chairman Gordon Grace said: “Barry has been a stalwart of the club over recent years and we are indebted to him for all the time and effort he has put in.”
Richardson paid tribute to Grace and marketing director Mike Graham, adding: “The appointment of Ged Stokes has also seen very positive performances from the team and I wish Ged, the coaching staff and players every possible success.”
